Widely recognized as the premier builder of runabout boats, Cobalt’s line-up includes Bow Rider and Cuddy Cabin models from 20’ to 36’. With nearly 50 years of quality boat-building to stand on, Cobalt pairs meticulous hand-building with technologically advanced “production,” that is, the ideal blend of beauty, innovative performance, and absolute comfort. If ever a runabout could be called elegant, this is it. Who says tradition has to look dated? Look around the waters of Green Bay, especially in Door County, and you will find the presence of this beautiful boat increasing every summer.

In 2005, Cal-Marine added Back Cove Yachts to their elite line-up. The Back Cove brand has flourished since its inception in 2003, featuring Downeast style hulls and thoughtfully designed appointments. Back Cove offers 30’ to 41’ yachts, all featuring a single diesel-powered engine with a standard bow thruster. Resin-infused fiberglass hulls are lighter yet stronger, meaning a more stable ride and increased fuel efficiency. Only the finest deck hardware will do, often requiring custom fabrication for certain parts, and a series of optional equipment is available, allowing clients to optimize their yacht to their individual cruising lifestyle. Built in the Maine tradition by experienced craftsmen and women, these limited production, hand-built boats are an ideal compliment to the Cal Marine family.

The Sabre Yacht line dates back to 1970, and remains one of Maine’s boat-building leaders, with a worldwide reputation for style and quality. Sabre builds yachts from 38’ – 54’ in the Downeast style with twin engines. Luxurious appointments make Sabre the choice of those with discriminating taste. Sabre hulls are molded using sandwich composite engineering. Foam cores are used to reduce weight and noise while increasing strength, stiffness, and durability. “Tabbing,” the process by which furniture is secured to the inner hull, creates an extremely strong structure which includes the furniture itself. Here, hands-on means inspection, testing, and proof, often requiring custom fabrication of hardware and other components for the most beautiful, sleek fit with the best durability and strength. Sabre offers the highest quality, rightfully retaining value far beyond that of competitors.
